NJYB SpringLeague NJYB is a affiliate
of NJABC / AABC The NJYB,
North Jerseys only AABC Charter will offer a Spring league for Town and Club teams at various ages. Team play in North Jersey Hudson, Bergen, Morris, Passaic, Essex and Rockland co. We do not travel past these areas
to play. The Town and Club Teams will be in separate leagues. Teams
will play a 8 game schedule. The season will start 4 April 2009 and will end on 24 May 2009.
We offer a Spring Play-ff to the top 4 teams( As long as there are 6 or more teams if not just
the top two) that will play in a single elimination play-off game leading to the Championship game. The
Championship game will be a best out of 3 to crown a Champion. The Championship team will receive
a Team trophy and players will receive an individual trophy. There will be a point system that
will be used in determining the standing for the play-offs. The point system that we will use will be the winning team will
receive 3 points, games that are tie teams will receive 2 points, teams that lose will receive 1 point for a lose. Games that
are not played for any reason teams will get a point deducted for not playing. Last day to Register
is March 22th 2009 Teams that Register before January 31st will receive $25.00 off Registration forms can be found on the website on the left hand side Spring Reg Form The age cut-off is 1 May. A player may not turn the following year older before 1 May 2009. There
will be the following divisions for teams and we will do our best in ensuring that the divisions are balanced out. We will
try our best to keep town and club teams separate. We will be strict with team not playing their
games in the Spring . We Offer a League to be played on late Saturday afternoons so teams do
not interfere with town recreation teams and also a league for Sunday. Divisions 8u 40/50 9u 46/65 9u A 46/60 10u
46/65 10u A 46/60 11u 50/70 Town & Club Division 11u A 46/60 12u 50/70 Town & Club 12u A 46/6013u 54/80 or 60/90 depending on field availability Town & Club 14u 60/90 Town &
Club Cost $200.00 for each team.( for teams who register after 31 January 2009)( $175 for teams
who register before 31 January 2009) Teams will split umpires fees and will supply 2 balls per
game. Each team must have their own insurance and have a copy submitted to the NJYB before 1
April 2009
