Welcome to North Jersey Youth Baseball!

The NJYB is an afficiate of the NJABC/ AABC and we offer leagues to all teams.
There is a Town travel league for the ages of 7u -14u
Also we have a Club/ Elite league for the ages of 8u-14u

The NJYB offers a Spring, Summer and Fall League to all teams and also host the Hackensack Memorial Day Tournament

*We offer a Town league for teams that have all players from one town.  Town teams are not allowed to pick players up from 12u and down. The 13 & 14 are allowed 3 players from out of their town and if a player is from a town which has a team that town would need a waiver from the town the player comes from..

We will grant small town communities a merger based on their towns baseball population and if the town goes to the same High School ONLY. It would have to be in writting and will be bases on case by case. The NJYB does not have to grant a team a waiver!

*Then for teams who have players from more then one town we will offer a Club Division which will be a seperate League and will not play town teams.

HOME TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING 2 CREDITED CARDED UMPIRES BOTH TEAMS WILL SPLIT THE COST FOR THE UMPIRES.

14U KOUFAX          -3 ONLY
13U MURPHY        UNLIMITED

About the NJYB/NJABC/AABC & Safety

Keep it Safe on the Baseball Field

Baseball is one of the most popular recreational sports for adults and children alike, with more than 40 million Americans participating in softball and baseball leagues every spring and summer.

According to the National SAFE KIDS Campaign, more than 3.5 million children under age 15 experience sports-and recreation-related injuries each year. Approximately 500,000 of these are baseball injuries that must be treated in hospital emergency rooms, doctors’ offices, clinics, and ambulatory surgery centers.

If players, coaches and parents practice a few safety rules, most baseball-related injuries can be prevented. Keep your child injury-free this summer by following a few general rules provided by the information on this page.
