Mangers and Coaches
The tournament will be ran under the AABC sanctions, this tournament will follow the AABC White book which I will attach the Sandy Koufax page is page 32. The tournament will be a double elimination tournament, There are 4 teams playing to gain a berth to the AABC Regional Tournament held in Troy NY on 15-18 July. The team that wins is expected to go to the AABC Regional's if the team does not advance the NJABC will charge the winning team $500 for not advancing on.
All games are played in Hackensack at Foschini Park on field #5
Teams are responsible for splitting the umpire fees. There will be 2 AABC Carded umpires from Red Umpires per game each umpire will receive $60 per game. Also each team is to supple 3 balls per game.
Each Manger needs to have there team arrive at Foschini Park in Hackensack between 430pm and 5 pm on Thursdays or Fridays game to sign in. Coaches need to have players Birth Certificates  to verify players true age. The team score book needs to be present also to verify all players have played in at least 3 games with the team.
I am attaching a copy of the following items:
1. Tournament Bracket
2. Directions to Foschini Park in Hackensack
3. The AABC White Book which we will follow for the entire tournament
If a rule is not stated in the White Book then we refer to the Major League Rule Book the National Division Rules
4. Blank copy of the Roster please have it filled out minus the players signatures they will sign in with me as a team. Also a copy of a current AABC Roster that have signed.
A few quick notes
Pitching Rule: a pitcher may not pitch more then 10 inning in any 2 day period. If he throws 1 pitch on a day and returns the next day regardless of the pitches or inning he may not exceed more then 10 inning and that pitcher must take the 3rd day off.
Teams may only bat 9 players in the batting order and then follow the High School Substitution Rule.
Example:  in the 1 spot you have Billy you want to take Billy out you put Johnny in order to bring Billy back you must remove Johnny and he is done for the game. The Batting order must remain true.
There is no EH or DH
Teams will flip for home team. The home team is the official score keeper of the game.
Coaches must report scores to the Field House along with pitching reports. I will keep a running log of pitcher's for the entire tournament
All games are 7 inning games
Mercy Rule:  The mercy rule is 8 runs after 4 1/2 inning if the home team is ahead or 5 innings
There you will be able to see all rules get any forms needed, follow scores and get directions To Foschini Park
Teams will play 1 game either on Thursday or Friday and then should expect to play 2 games on Saturday and Sunday if your teams advances
All information will be on our web site njyb.net
Thank you very mush I look forward to having a good tournament. What makes a good tournament successful is when you have good teams and good Coaches.
