NJYB  MEMORIAL DAY TOURNAMENT
* All games held in Hackensack
* Teams guaranteed 4 games  
 First 3 games are pool play top team in each Div plays for Championship all other cross over as consolation
* umpires fees included
* balls will be provided
* 1st and 2nd place trophies will be provided 1 Team and up to 15 Individuals
 * Concession stand with all your baseball goodies
*  Parking  at fields free of charge
*  Field sizes          8u  will play on  40/60 Changed to 40/50 on 5 May 2010    
                                  9u-10 will play 46/65       
                                 11u-12u will play on 50/70 
                               13u-16u will play on 60/90 
** The winner of each age group as long as there is 6 teams will receive a paid bid to any weekend tournament at Sports of the Beach in Delaware 
* Cost:          8u-10u $475    ( 1 Carded Umpire per game )    
                      11u-12u $575   ( 2 Carded Umpires per Game)

                      13u-16u $600   ( 2 Carded Umpires per Game)

We will follow MLB Major League Rules any rules not noted below will be outlined in the Major League Rule Book....  
The umpires will be in total control of the game and will ensure that the safety of play for everyone is at the utmost priority and that the rules are followed allowing the players a fair and competitive game. ....
Slide or avoid : A player must slide or avoid a defense of player at any base if there is a play. No hurdling a player will be permitted. The umpire will call a malaise play and the play may be ejected... Ejection : If a player is ejected from a game he will not me permitted to play in the following game.               If a Coach is ejected from a game he will not be permitted to coach or attend the next game..

THERE WILL BE NO INFIELD OUT FIELD PRACTICE PRIOR TO ANY GAME THERE IS AMPLE AMOUTH OF GRASS AREAS IN THE PARK FOR TEAMS TO WARM UP PRIOR TO THEIR GAME

1)  HEAD TO HEAD ( if its 2 teams 3 or more spik and go to the next tie breaker)
