We would like to welcome you and Congratulate your team for advancing to the 11u PONY Bronco Regional Tournament. It is my pleasure to be able to Host this years 11u PONY Bronco Regional Tournament. The tournament is being Hosted by North Bergen we would like to thank them for stepping up to be the Host tea for the 2016 season.

 

We currently have 6 teams and waiting to see if any other qualify this weekend

  Below you will find a PONY 2016 Fact Sheet for the Regional Tournament. In the sheet you will find all the information you will need for this years tournament.

 

There will be a Mandatory Tournament Meeting for Mangers.( Thursday 14 July at 730 pm in North Bergen ) . At the meeting the teams must bring the following items, these items are required by PONY Baseball and can be found on the PONY web site   http://www.pony.org/

 

1. Team Affidavit which is your PONY Roster. ( Teams must have a minimum of 12 players to participate and no more then 15 players on their Roster

 

2. Medical Release Form for each player

 

3. Team Picture

 

4. Players are required to wear the PONY Patches they can be purchased through the PONY web site

 

5. Must have a Team Picture

 

6. Gate Fee Check made out to NJYB in the amount of $150.00

 

7. Birth Certificates of Players

 

8. Score Books to show each players has played

 

9. Each Coach should familiarize themselves with the PONY Rule Book especially the Pitching Rule

A.   11u Bronco A pitcher may not pitch more then 10 innings in one calendar week.

B.   A pitcher can only pitch 7 inning in one day but then must have a minimum of 40 hours of rest in between their next time they pitch

C.   If in the event a pitcher pitchers more then 4 innings in a day they must have 40 hours in between the next time they pitch

The winner of the PONY Regional Tournament will advance to the PONY 11u Bronco Zone Tournament

ATTENDANCE AT PRE-TOURNAMENT MEETINGS IS MANDATORY.TEAM REPRESENTATIVE NOT PRESENT AND WITHOUT THE PROPER PAPERWORK WILL CAUSE THE TEAM TO BE DISQUALIFIED BY THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR.

 

ALL TEAMS MUST BE A LEGAL PONY TEAM WITH LEGAL PONY PLAYERS.  AT ANY TIME DURING THE TOURNAMENT, IF PROOF IS SHOWN (SCOREBOOKS, WEB INFORMATION, NEWSPAPER ARTICLES, ETC.) TO THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR THAT A TEAM OR PLAYER (S) IS/ARE ILLEGAL, THAT PLAYER OR PLAYERS ALONG WITH THE MANAGER OF THAT TEAM WILL BE SUSPENDED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE TOURNAMENT AND/OR TOURNAMENT SEASON

 

Upon qualifying for Tournament play, call the tournament director and advise him that you will be attending. Then e-mail a listing of your Team roster to the Tournament Director. He will then check the roster against the one you submitted to PONY Baseball.
