NJYB administrates North Jersey’s Charter for the NJABC which is a part of the AABC and their National Program. NJABC is one of the oldest leagues in NJ and the best kept secrets in baseball throughout New Jersey.

·         Teams that play in the NJYB will play a regular summer season schedule 12-16 games throughout the season

(Summer season begins 1 June and goes through Mid July.)

·         State tournament for the top teams in the standing with advancement to:

A)     Winners at the EVEN ages will advance to the AABC North Atlantic Regional Tournament

B)     Winners at the ODD ages advance directly to an AABC WORLD SERIES

C)     New Jersey Teams will ONLY play in the NJYB State Tournament- NY teams will play in a NY tournament

·         We offer a TOWN TEAM Division: Town Division teams are made up of players from one community or program.

A.      Schedules will be made and passed out at the Scheduling meeting and mangers will have 1 week to set their schedules according

B.      Even ages will play on Tuesday- Thursday and Saturdays

C.      Odd ages will play on Monday-Wednesday- and Saturdays

D.     Pick up Players for the town side

( 12u and under teams may pick up 2 players out of their community and 13u thru 14u can pick up to 3 players 15u no limit) Pick up players are to help teams fill rosters when teams are short players

·         We Offer a CLUB TEAM Division: Club division teams can pick players up throughout a 50 mile radius. NJ teams must have NJ cannot have NY players without a written waiver from the Administration of NJYB

( Club teams will play in the Lower Hudson Valley League where NJ (NJYB) and Rockland co (RBA) teams play together) When the State Tournaments come NJ teams play NJ teams and NY teams will play NY teams for advancement.

A.      Schedules will be made and passed out at the scheduling meeting Coaches then will have the flexibility of setting their schedules to field availability, tournaments and other events

B.      Even ages will be scheduled for Monday- Wednesday and Saturday

C.      Odd ages will be schedules for Tuesday- Thursday and Saturday

·         A PLAYER MAY PLAY FOR A TOWN TEAM ALONG WITH A CLUB TEAM DURING THE SEASON BUT THEY MUST DECLARE WHAT TEAM THEY WILL PLAY WITH PRIOR TO THE STATE TOURNAMENT. NO PLAYER CAN PLAY ON 2 TEAMS IN THE SAME AGE DIVISION DURING THE SEASON OR IN THE STATE TOURNAMENT.

·         The TOWN Division and Club Division will have their own leagues ( Unless the Director combines ) and each Division will have their own separate NJYB State Tournament and each will send a winner to the Regional or World Series Tournaments

·         Manger’s and Coaches many of you want to attend tournaments and pay $500 plus for your entry fee with many tournaments only guaranteeing teams 3 to 4 games at those prices.

OUR NJYB SUMMER LEAGUE TEAMS PLAY 12-16 games DURING OUR SEASON WITH THE CHANCE OF PLAYING IN OUR STATE TORUNAMENT AND THE WINNERS ADVANCING TO ADDITIONAL TOURNAMENTS
