NJYB First Annual Meeting for the 2012 Season

We will go over Spring and Summer 2012

NEW THIS YEAR

.NJYB will be offering a Spring Recreation league for towns at 13u and 14u ( 15u not in High School)

Teams will play 2 games a week

This league will only be offered to town teams to provide a league for Recreational teams to play

New Rule changes for the 2012 season

1 A)All bats used in 2012 must be BPF 1.15 or under for the 7u-14u divisions

B) 15u to unlimited will use ONLY Wood Bats see listing on AABC.US website

2 All tournament games will be complete games either by reaching the entire amount of innings played or by the 8 run mercy rule at all ages

3 Odd ages now will have regional turnaments with teh winners advancing to the AABC Regional Tournament

4 Dates for all Regional and World Series see below

5 All teams must have thier Team Rosters submitted to the league representive by 15 June 2012 or the team may not advance to any tournaments

Pee Wee Reese August 2 - 5 Toa Baja, PR

Gil Hodges July 24 - 29 Surprise, AZ

Willie Mays July 26 - 29 Toa Baja, PR

Jackie Robinson July 31 - August 4 Brownsville, TX

Roberto Clemente July 25 - 29 McDonough, GA

NJYB will be having the folowing seasons

1 Spring 1 April 2012 to 20 May 2012 with the play-offs and Championship game on 3 June

2 Memorial Day Tournament hosted in Hackensack 25-28 May 2012

3 Summer Season with a NJYB State Play-offs with the winners advancing to a AABC Regional tournament and the winners for the regionals to go on to the AABC World Series to represent NJ and Mid Atlantic Regions

Start Date is 2 June to MId July

4 Fall 9 Sept 2012 to 28 Oct 2012 with the playoffs strating on 4 Nov 2012
